Acumatica Connected Application Authentication (SM303010)

This process is often performed on your behalf by Anterra's staff during our initial implementation.

Setup Acumatica Connected Application (SM303010)

  1. Login to your Acumatica instance as an administrator
  2. Go to the Connected Applications screen (SM303010)
  3. Find 'AnterraBI'
  4. Flow should be Authorization Code
  5. Plug-In should be No Plug-In
  6. Click Add Shared Secret
    1. Type Anterra Platform into the Description field
    2. Leave Expires On empty
    3. Copy and save the randomly generated value which will be used in a later step
    4. Click OK
  7. Click on the REDIRECT URIS tab
  8. Edit the longer entry and replace the value between the last two slashes in the URL with the value after the @ from the Client ID field

Be sure to click the save icon when all changes have been made, then proceed to the next section to authenticate Anterra.

Authenticate Anterra

  1. Login to Anterra (https://auth.anterracloudbi.com) as an administrator
  2. Navigate to Admin > UI Administration > Authorize Acumatica Integration
  3. Copy and paste the full value from the Client ID field on Acumatica into the Client Id field in Anterra, then press TAB
  4. This will automatically adjust and fill the Tenant name and Client Id field with the appropriate values
  5. Place the URL you use to access Acumatica (step 1 in the previous section) into the URL to Acumatica instance field
  6. Paste the value copied on step 3 above into the Client Secret field
  7. Click Authorize Now to connect the Anterra Platform to Acumatica
