AnterraBI™ v28 has been released to Production! Below are the 18 new features available today

Features Added:

1.  Menu Item Search Bar Improved!! #9895

The magnifying glass in the top right of AnterraBI now lists all menu items for a word you search for and has hyperlinks to let you instantly open the menu item.  Enter any word to search for and you get a display of menu results:

Note to our Canadian and Australian clients: You can edit menus in Admin > Menu Administration to correctly spell “Labour” 😊

 

2.  Security – AnterraBI has enabled Multifactored Authentication #9987

We added the ability to require implementation of Multi-Factored Authentication requiring users to receive and enter a code via email or text to confirm their identity prior to login.  This is set up on each user in User Administration:

3.  WIP Management – Split WIP adjustment value into separate column - #8819

You have a new column on your WIP Management Grid – WIP Override $. The column is filled in when you enter a WIP percentage complete.  This allows you to do job cost accrual entries and make a change to the job’s WIP Percent complete.

The WIP Management grid is typically located under Construction > Work in Process menu.

4.  Manage Project Dates from the Job Forecasting Hub #9216

We have added a column “Manage Project Dates” to your Job Forecasting Hub.  This allows Project Managers to change the end date of a project prior to entering their Forecast Cost at Complete.  The End Date is important if you use S Curve forecasting, we need to spread future revenue and cost over the remaining duration of the project.  You can turn on the column by clicking on the 3 dots on any column, selecting columns and clicking the check box beside “Manage Project Dates”

The Job Forecasting hub is typically located under Construction > Project Status, it may be under Construction > Reports to Test if you haven’t rolled it out to your team yet.

5.  AR Collections: Edit Action Items from the Action Item Pivot grid #9335

We have added a column “Edit Action Item” to your Action Item Pivot Grid.  This allows AR Collectors to sort action items any way they want, then edit them.  You can turn on the column by clicking on the 3 dots on any column, selecting columns and clicking the check box beside “Edit Action Item”

The Action Item Pivot Grid is typically located under Action Items > Pivot Grids.

6.  AR Collections AR Invoice Grid: AR Invoice Due Date and Days To/From Due Date #9048

Each of the systems we integrate with:  Sage 300CRE, Viewpoint Vista and Acumatica calculate an AR invoice due date based on the AR customer setup.  We have added 2 columns to your AR Invoice Grid:  Invoice Due Date and Days To / From Due Date.  This gives your AR Collectors knowledge about when to call to collect AR invoices. Example: customer negotiated 90-day payment terms, that customer should not be called about invoices less than 90 days old. 

You can turn on the columns by clicking on the 3 dots on any column, selecting columns and clicking the check boxes beside “AR Invoice Due Date” and “Days To/From Due Date:

The AR Invoice Grid is usually located under Construction > Accounts Receivable or Service Management > Accounts Receivable

7.  AR Collections: AR Customer Contact – Added Fields

Added fields to the customer contact record based on client requests:

Title

Phone Extension

Notes

The customer contact information can be maintained in the Customer Hub in AR Collections.

8.  AR Action Item Calendar – sorts by Customer #9593

Your agenda view of Action Items now sorts by customer within each day making it easier for collectors to see all items due in a day by customer.

The Agenda view of Action items is under Action Items > Calendar > Action Item Calendar 

9.  Cash Flow Forecasting – Added ability to Ungroup all contract items #9559

In our V28 release, we added the ability to create Contract Item Groups for selected contract items.  Some clients group contract items together for cash flow forecasting.  You can now ungroup all contract item items making it easier to edit your groupings. 

By selecting the checkbox to the left of groups at the top of the group pane you can select all items

 

10.        Cash Flow Forecasting – “Reset Button” to Spread Amounts on S Curve #9628

Clients requested we make it easy to start cash forecasting over, clear out all timed forecasts, and spread all amounts for contract revenue and costs on the project’s S Curve – we made a “reset button”.

When you select “Spread Amounts on S Curve” we clear out all timed forecasts and spread contract revenue and Forecast Cost at Complete on your S curve, a fresh start to a timed forecast.

The button is “Spread Amounts on S Curve”. By selecting the checkbox to the left of groups at the top of the group pane you can select all items

You get a pop-up warning that you will be clearing out your forecasts and applying the S Curve assigned to your project

 

11.        Cash Flow Forecasting Pivot Grid – Added Calendar Year View:  9663

Clients requested we create a view to the end of the current calendar year:

This grid is most likely under Reports to Test > Construction, please contact us if you would like to arrange training on this very powerful tool

12.        Construction BI – added columns for Pay Item Classification to Labor Hours by Pay Period Widget and Labor Hours Pivot Grid #9683 #9686

Clients requested we show a breakdown between OT and DT. We have added these classifications to your Labor Hours by Pay Period Widget and the Labor Hour Grid

NOTE:  This screen shot is from sample data that does not have double time pays – DT Hours would appear as a separate bar to the right of OT hours and as a column on our labor grid

Please contact us if you would like this set up, we need to flag your Pay IDs as OT and DT to segregate them:

13.        Added Sales Person Column to the Final Margin Grid #10057

Per client requests, you can now turn on the Sales Person column in Grid Admin and make it visible on the Final Margin Grid:  Construction > Margin Analysis

 

14.        Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed.

8453: The “&” Symbol can now be used in Account Mapping hierarchy; we added the ability to save special characters in the Account Hierarchy

9513: Accounts are out of order in Anterra Statement Builder Row Configuration

9674:  Fixed drill down to financial transactions to use fiscal date instead of calendar date for companies with non-calendar fiscal year ends.

8887: Percent complete Construction Widget shows incorrect values.

9711: Deleting data trimming for a user now removes that module from a user’s account, prior to this fix it was possible to remove data trimming resulting rare but potential security issues

9905: User Group Admin – notes field only displayed 1 line, every note entered by clients was more than 1 line requiring users to drag the notes box bigger every time, made it much taller

9994: S Curve Forecasting – we corrected a condition where more than 100% of remaining contract revenue and forecast cost at complete was being distributed over the remaining months of a project

10062: S curve graph was not including the first month actual revenue and cost on some jobs
