Set report Favorites from the Favorites icon on the far right of the top bar while a report is showing by clicking on Add to Favorites (indicated by yellow star):

Or set Favorites from the report menu by clicking on the Favorites icon next to the report name.  For example, click on the highlighted star Favorites icon to turn the star blue, indicating a Favorite report:
