Pros

1. Already available through Anterra
   
2. Allows masking of sensitive data through simple configuration
   
3. Diverse set of connectors for the construction as well as many other industries
   
4. Simple bundled pricing and billing through Anterra based on the number of rows "active rows"
   

Cons

1. Not a true iPaaS - the focus is data transfer not transformation
   
2. Specialized networking knowledge and access is required to setup some data sources when they are behind firewalls
   
3. Custom connectors to data sources not currently offered require detailed specifications and either:
   
1. Engineering by Anterra for short timeframes
   
2. Negotiation with Fivetran for addition to their roadmap - willingness and timing is heavily affected by the anticipated MAR (monthly active rows) that Fivetran can expect to go through that connector

Workato

Pros

1. Extremely diverse set of connectors across many industries and types
   
2. Detailed workflow capabilities allow for performing lookups and transforming data
   
3. Offers a few connectors that are not available through any other iPaaS providers
   
4. Workato will build custom connectors for their system, sometimes at "no charge" depending on your annual spend

Cons

1. Choosing to use Workato requires a direct relationship between you and Workato
   
2. Anterra does not provide monitoring or support for Workato workflows, that comes from Workato, Anterra Data Warehouse is simply the target for those workflows
   
3. There are transformation capabilities in Workato, which also means creating connections takes more time
4. Workato tends to be more expensive and has less transparent pricing and tends to have a higher overall total cost of ownership except for clients with many very large datasets
