anterraDataCenter Synchronization Scheduled task not running after local or active directory user account password change

It is necessary to also change the password on all ADC Scheduled tasks when the local or active directory account used to run ADC updates has a password change.  The password is stored within the scheduled task for credentials to run the task.

Updating Password Used for Scheduled Tasks

  1. Connect to the server in your environment that is running ADC as a user with administrative privileges.
  2. Open the  Start  menu (at the bottom left).
  3. Start typing  Task Scheduler  and the Best match should show the  Task Scheduler   Desktop app , click on that item to open it.
  4. In the  Task Scheduler  window that appears you will first need to click on  Task Scheduler Library , then for each task shown in the middle panel that uses the affected account  right-click  on the item and choose  Properties.
  5. In the task's properties dialog click on the  Change User or Group  button
  6. In the Select User or Groudialog, you are going to enter the same account that was already there since we're just updating the password and click OK.
  7. Click  OK  on the task's  Properties  window and you will be prompted for the password associated with the selected account.
  8. Return to step 4 for each additional task that is scheduled in your environment.
  9. To test a scheduled task you can run it manually by right-clicking on the task and choosing  Run.
