How to whitelist:
This article provides instructions on how to whitelist emails from notification@anterratech.com
to ensure you receive important notifications from Anterra Tech. Email whitelisting prevents these notifications from being flagged as spam or blocked by your email system or firewall.
I. Email Clients (Desktop and Web-Based)
A. Outlook (Desktop and Web)
- Outlook Desktop:
- Add to Safe Senders List:
- Open Outlook.
- Go to Home > Junk > Junk E-mail Options.
- Select the Safe Senders tab.
- Click Add.
- Enter

and click OK.
- Click Apply and OK.
- Add to Contacts:
- Open a received email from
notification@anterratech.com
.
- Right-click the sender's email address.
- Select Add to Outlook Contacts.
- Save the contact.
- Outlook Web (Outlook.com or Office 365 Web):
- Add to Safe Senders List:
- Log in to your Outlook Web account.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner.
- Search for and select "View all Outlook settings".
- Select "Mail" then "Junk email".
- Under "Safe senders and domains", click "Add".
- Enter

and press Enter.
- Click "Save".
B. Gmail (Web and App)
- Web:
- Add to Contacts:
- Create a Filter:
- Open an email from
notification@anterratech.com
.
- Click the three vertical dots (More) next to the reply button.
- Select Filter messages like these.
- Click Create filter.
- Check the box next to Never send it to Spam.
- Optionally, you may also choose to apply a label to the emails.
- Click Create filter.
- App:
- Open the email from
notification@anterratech.com
.
- Tap on the sender's name.
- Tap on "Add to contacts" or "Create new contact".
C. Apple Mail (macOS and iOS)
- macOS:
- Open an email from
notification@anterratech.com
.
- Hover over the sender's email address and click the down arrow.
- Select Add to VIP or Add to Contacts.
- iOS:
- Open an email from
notification@anterratech.com
.
- Tap the sender's email address.
- Tap Create New Contact or Add to Existing Contact.
D. Other Email Clients (Thunderbird, etc.)
- Most email clients have similar features for adding senders to safe lists or address books. Refer to your email client's documentation for specific instructions. Generally look for "Safe Senders", "Address Book", or "Contacts".
II. Firewalls and Email Servers (IT Administrators)
A. Firewall/Spam Filter (e.g., Barracuda, Cisco IronPort, Proofpoint)
- Consult your firewall or spam filter's documentation for specific instructions.
- Generally, you will need to add
notification@anterratech.com
to the "Allow List" or "Whitelist" for senders.
- For email gateways, it may be necessary to add the sending server's IP address to an allow list. Contact Anterra tech support for this information.
- Look for settings related to "Sender Policy Framework (SPF)", "DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)", and "Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC)". Ensure that Anterra Tech's domain passes these checks.
B. Microsoft Exchange Server
- Exchange Admin Center (EAC):
- Log in to the EAC.
- Navigate to Protection > Spam filter.
- Double-click the default policy (or your custom policy).
- Select Allow lists.
- Under Allowed senders, click the + (Add) icon.
- Enter

and click Save.
- Click Save again.
- PowerShell:
C. Google Workspace (G Suite) Admin Console
- Whitelist Sender:
- Log in to the Google Workspace Admin console.
- Go to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Spam, phishing and malware.
- In the Email allowlist section, click Add.
- Enter

and click Save.
- Create an Email Routing Rule:
- Go to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Routing.
- Click Add Another Rule.
- Give the rule a name (e.g., "Anterra Tech Notification Whitelist").
- Under Email messages to affect, select Inbound.
- Under Add expressions that describe the messages you want to affect, select Single sender and enter

- Under For the above types of messages, do the following, select Modify message.
- Under Spam, select Bypass spam filter.
- Click Save.
D. Other Email Servers (Postfix, Sendmail, etc.)
- Refer to your email server's documentation for specific instructions on whitelisting senders.
- Typically, this involves editing configuration files to add the sender's address to allow lists or bypass spam filtering rules.
